Absinthe is an adults-only circus act that pairs the tradition of a Spiegeltent carnival with the antics of burlesque, all delivered on a small circular stage that reels the audience into the heart of the action. Our venerable host, The Gazillionaire, leads a host of performers who defy everything from the odds to gravity in a series of vaudevillian segments that will leave you gasping, blushing, and slyly peeking through your fingers.

Cast & Crew

Leading Roles: The Gazillionaire (pioneered by Cirque du Soleil’s clown Voki Kalfayan) and his assistant Penny Pibblets (originated by Anais Thomassian) lead a troupe of zany acrobatic and burlesque performers that has included Jet Eveleth as goofy sidekick Joy Jenkins, burlesque star Hazel Honeysuckle, circus performer Nastia Strizhanova, tap dancers Sean and John Scott, and more.
